Are You Ready To Get “Corrupted”?

We are almost upon the release of “Metroid Prime 3: Corruption”. The third and final chapter in the Metroid Prime trilogy. It makes it’s debut on the Wii tomorrow(8/21).

This month has been coined by NOA(Nintendo of America) as “The Month of Metroid”. And they have delivered. First was the release of first classic title on the NES early this month. Followed by “Super Metroid” on SNES through the virtual console.

There has been a lot of people gankin on the game, saying “it was a GameCube game, not a Wii game”. My answer to that is….so what, it’s Metroid. One of the best Nintendo franchises.

Now I can’t help but mention that tomorrow there will be some stiff competition for Samus. Out on the DS tomorrow is the sequel to the hit brain trainer “Brain Age”, which will be called, you guessed it, “Brain Age 2″, but not only that, Nintendo will be bundling it with their new colored DS Lite, which is crimson(dark red) on the top half, and onyx(black) on the bottom half.

Another HUGE release, which I have played and have a review up at Liveforxbox.com is “BioShock”. This game has been gaining and gaining more and more steam. This is going to be a trifecta of competition, so if you have the coin i recommend all three.

We love talking about all the games that are coming out, but writing is one thing, and seeing is another. So we have opened up a screen shot gallery which you can access from this post or on the right hand navigation bar near the bottom.

Right now there are only a few but by the end of the week as things build up, expect more shots.

If you want to know when new screens are added just subscribe to the feed and we will post when new items have been added.

Right now in the U.S. at least a new Frosty flavor is available at your local Wendy’s. So the new flavor is Vanilla mixed with your favoriate soft drink making it a Frosty Float. To sweeten the deal(No pun intended, and Wii like our puns), they are teaming up with Nintendo to give away 8800 Wii’s

2 Days Left for Mii Contest

If you didn’t get a chance to listen to last weeks show. We are having a Mii contest. Rules are simple. Create a Mii with a picture of the Mii you are copying. One entry/Mii per person. All submissions must have the picture of the Mii and the corresponding photo. Then e-mail it to us by Monday, April 2, 12 PM (+0 GMT).

The prize is a Nyko Wii Charging Station courtesy from the folks at Nyko. The winner will be announced on Tuesday’s show.

Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Mii Contest Ammendment

I totally forgot to mention it on the show for the rules. So here it is: You can only submit one Mii. People are submitting multiple Miis and people have only one Mii. So to keep it fair, only one Mii per person. This keeps things evenly stacked. If you submit multiple, we will pick the best, and send it off.

We are happy to announce that next weeks guest will be Chris Arbogast, Marketing Manager for Nyko Technologies. He’s going to tell us about the cool new peripherals that they have cooking for the Wii.
